Managing Partners


Douglas Martindale

Douglas started Newport Property Group in 2001 with John Antonelli and since then developed and initiated strategies to successfully acquire, develop, and manage over $50 Million in real estate.

Responsible for investor relations, finance, research and strategy, Douglas also led the firm's partnerships and automating property management functions to ensure operational excellence.  He has extensive knowledge with investment analysis, financial positioning, development including condominium conversions, corporate structuring, zoning, landlord/tenant law, and collections.

He is a licensed Realtor, and has also served as President of Redleaf Condominium, and was Co-Chair of the Real Estate Affinity club at the Union League of Philadelphia.  He completed a B.S. in Accounting and Computational Mathematics at Hillsdale College in Michigan and a M.S. in Computing Sciences at Villanova University.


John Antonelli

Responsible for day-to-day operations, project and staff management, John monitors all aspects of property managment, whether routine maintenance to full redevelopment and construction.  He had developed operational strategies that have dramatically reduced mantenance cost allowing us to pass that onto our customers.

John was previously a chief Horticultural Engineer with E.G. Rall Landscaping.  He also created and owned a full service landscape contracting company, Greener Images, which he recently sold to provide all of his time to Newport.

He was born in northeast Pennsylvania and is a graduate of Ornamental Horticulture at Delaware Valley College.  John is also fluent in Spanish.

Scott Lansman
Sr. Manager - Facilities and Construction

Scott is responsible for all aspects of facilities management, managing capital projects, customer relations, and construction.  He oversees construction on our existing portfolio as well as new projects throughout Philadelphia.

He has an extensive knowledge of real estate property management and construction that began at his family business. Scott has had the opportunity to project manage everything from multi-million dollar homes with Prestigious Homes, Inc, to the management of a 200+ unit apartment facility with Lindy Property Management.

Born in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, Scott attended University of Hartford with a B.S. in Entrepreneurial Studies.


Gerald Antonelli
Sr. Manager - Operations

Gerald has provided Newport with years of loyal service providing the true hands-on attention that property management requires.  He has expertise in all aspects of maintenance and construction including plumbing, electric, HVAC, and most importantly, project management.

He is responsible for the regular maintenance, turnovers, and capital projects for over 200 units.

He graduated with honors from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.


Megan Keane
Manager - Leasing

Megan has proven herself to be a potent force in managing our leasing operations.  She specializes in student housing, primarily around Temple University and understands the needs of students and owners alike.

She graduated with honors from the Art Institute of Philadelphia and brings her marketing talent and creativity to our entire organization.

She also takes an active role in our networking and represents Newport at the Apartment Association of Greater Philadelphia.

Since 2001, Newport Property Group has provided apartment and house rentals and leasing throughout the Philadelphia area.  We also have a specialty in student housing around Temple University, although have no affiliation with the school.  For owners, landlords, and condominium associations we provide full management services including maintenance, repairs, construction, legal, evictions, rent collection, and corporate structuring all throughout Pennsylvania.

Kerri Grimley
Sr. Manager - Sales and Leasing

Kerri handles all leasing processes at Newport as well as working closely with new owners seeking property management services.  Kerri also assists in developing growth in new markets.

She has an extensive history in sales, most recently in medical sales with BioSystems of New England.  Like Scott, her family has strong ties in the constrution and real estate industry, skills that have been invaluable in her leadership at Newport.

She graduated with honors with a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and is an active marathoner.
